This idea came floating to me in 2021, my early postpartum, resting in bed admiring my newborn. I would write his name ਕਰਤਾਰ ਸਿੰਘ and remember feeling so in love, like I have literally never before, with the beautiful alphabets of our mother language ਪੰਜਾਬੀ. On that continuum of thoughts, a desire arose in my heart. A desire to preserve the art of our language; a desire to hear my son ਕਰਤਾਰ speaking our mother language ਪੰਜਾਬੀ with us, his grandparents and our families.
I searched for Punjabi toys and educational materials for kids, but found very few options available. Most of the existing resources were books, which, while valuable, didn't provide the interactive, hands-on learning experience that I was looking for. I remember thinking, out of many things about my childhood, just how much I enjoyed learning when I was playing. That's when I decided to take matters into my own hands and initiate a project of designing and creating the first ever ਪੰਜਾਬੀ English Wooden Puzzles. A collection of fun and interactive puzzles that not only promotes the learning of ਪੰਜਾਬੀ language but also fostered creativity, critical thinking, and cognitive development. And, of course, it had to be fun!

At ਕਰਤਾ Creations, our mission is to promote and preserve the Punjabi language and culture for future generations. We believe that language is an essential part of cultural identity and that every child should have access to educational resources that celebrate their heritage.
